about a year ago, he didn't even want to touch her, but lately he seemed to be in love with her, he kept on asking about her everytime he arrived at my house

I have had kids in the classes that I have done herp talks in that are afraid of my herps at first. But once they see they are harmless they will hold them without a problem. Sometimes that is all a kid needs and they will fall in love with an animal instantly.:)

Kids are so pure!! they can easily change their mind once they knew it is harmless.

his mother, my sister in law, is afraid of kame since Kame was still a baby, and she hasn't changed her mind tho she knew Kame is totally harmless...grown ups are so difficult

I think a lot of people get stuck in their "old ways" when they get older and become more afraid of change. But more people need to have an open mind about things. I can see people being afraid of other herptiles, like snakes and croc species, because they can be dangerous. But turtles and tortoises are harmless so I don't see how someone can be afraid of them. Yet there is always gonna be someone that has a fear of even the silliest thing. I met someone that was afraid of frogs once too! :lol:

one of my students also afraid of frog!! I've seen something more silly, someone who is afraid of chicken...there's nothing wrong with chicken
